VAC Service Corp. offers two basic types of service plans: Product Repair & Product Replacement.

Product repair plans are available for a wide variety of products, including consumer and office electronics, housewares, major appliances, lawn and garden equipment, power tools, exercise and fitness equipment, bicycles, cameras, watches and jewelry, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and appliances, furniture, and more (VAC is also deeply involved in digital satellite system installation and service, software support, PC installation, and a wide variety of telemarketing services).

Labor and replacement parts are fully covered, as necessary, to maintain the product in operating condition. Anytime service is required for a covered product, a simple toll-free call to one of our customer service representatives allows us to quickly locate a convenient authorized service center which will be authorized to handle the repair for you. There is no cost to you beyond the initial cost of the service plan.

Product replacement plans are called for whenever the product in question is more sensibly replaced than repaired.  This occurs when a repair would be more costly than replacement. When you purchase a product replacement plan, should your covered product fail, just call our toll-free number to reach one of our customer service representatives and the replacement process is set in motion. The product is required to be shipped to VAC for inspection, which then issues a merchandise replacement voucher which can be used at the store where the product was initially purchased. There, the voucher is redeemed for a replacement product of equivalent value. Replacement plans are valid for a one-time replacement and are not renewable. A new plan, of course, may be purchased with each new product purchase or for a replacement product.

• NATIONAL - VAC Service plans are available in all 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico for the convenience of consumers everywhere. Consumers also benefit from VAC's vast network of more than 70,000 authorized service centers.

• UNDERWRITTEN - VAC Service is fully insured and each dealer is issued their own policy, fully protecting the dealer and consumer from any financial loss on service plans--even if VAC Service goes out of business.

• GUARANTEED RENEWABLE - Consumers are guaranteed the right to re-new their service plans for 12-month coverage periods for as long as they wish to re-new them, allowing the customer to decide when they wish to stop covering a product and perhaps purchase a new one. 

• TRANSFERABLE - Consumers can transfer ownership of their product and service plan for that product at any time during the period of coverage, thus adding re-sale value to their product purchase.

• COVERS ALL MAKES, ALL MODELS - Once VAC covers a product category we cover all makes and models offered by a brand. Consumers can choose the exact product they want, knowing a service plan covering that product will always be available.
  
• NO DEDUCTIBLES - Your VAC Service plan covers the full cost of repairing your covered product-100% parts and labor coverage, giving you the peace of mind and comfort of knowing that should their product require repair there is no cost at all, ever, for as long as coverage exists.

• NO CEILING - There is no ceiling on trip charges for in-home service, again saving you money if you happen to live a longer-than-usual distance from a repair center.

• GRACE PERIOD - If you neglect to purchase a service plan when you initially purchase a product, you can do so at a later date for as long as 30 days remain on the original manufacturer's warranty.
